Kool, i'm putting together a bench rig to start playing off of, just picked up a 14900ks and a z790 Apex, direct die, MoRA 420, trying to have it ready for the 5090 release

Very nice. If I remember correctly wasn't your 4090 water-cooled at one stage, I think you used the Phanteks water-block? Did you go back to the original air cooler for your 4090? What was the reason?

I bet this is super nice to have now that the temperatures are getting up there here in Europe. My little bullshit aircooler is ramping up nicely because of the increase in temperatures lol.

Two questions for you. Why the choice of green? Just curious Have you ever tried cranking the fans to 100% to see just how low the temps get?

Just started the game. When you get out of the garage drive a bit up the road until the town is out of view, then drive back towards the garage. The sheriff's police car drops from the sky into position. A novel way of combating texture pop in i guess. Does anyone else get this? Its so jarring.

Are you doing direct die w/ liquid metal? Seems like the way to go if you're doing a custom loop these days. I retired from custom loops after my 10900K 2080 Ti (currently on a 14700K & 4090). Noise isn't an issue, and my sys isn't much of a show piece. The performance benefits for the games I play w/ the newer hardware imo isn't justifiable for the cost or maintenance but I still enjoy seeing others setups. It's a great side hobby for sure.

Have you ever had a leak that damaged components? I want to try watercooling for the benefits some day but I'm scared of the risk.

One person told me he played the game "amazingly" with 7900GRE in 4K with 120fps on all max settings. I was like. Bro, you can't even get 80 even with dlss and fg especially on 4k max.

It's nice but for how much the RTX 4090 costs, it should be running the game at 150fps at 4K w/out any DLSS

game looks horrible. I would of thought it released 8-10 years ago had I not known better. Can't believe their proud of this or even calling it "next gen". I've seen better graphical output on the PS4

I was disappointed by this game’s performance. The fact you need a top of the line card to get a solid 4K60, or higher, that’s poor optimization imo. Last of Us was terribly optimized. I was hoping for, but not holding my breath, for 6K resolution, maybe I’ll try some DSR, with DLSS and frame gen. See if I can trick the game into letting me run a higher resolution. I was going to say PS4 games do not optimize well on pc apparently. But Horizon zero dawn runs really good, Uncharted 4 also. God of War as well. I’m running a 13900K/4090, performance similar to what I’m seeing here.

Rarely comment on videos but had to give thanks for this one. Always wondered why I didn't have these VRAM options in Afterburner, shaking my head it was as simple as enabling a dll. Cheers!

Dear Nvidia 3000 owners: Nvidia forgot about you but you can enjoy fsr fg courtesy of AMD.

Dunno FSR seems to bring more detail in armor of samurais and also grass looks sharper, while DLSS is like heavy antialiasing which doesn't look bad, but it's as if different look

Check out how my 2 systems look and perform in Ghost Of Tsushima, using Ultra Settings FSR 3 and DLSS 3.7 at 4K.

Yes on my XTX they did a great job with the FSR3 now we just need the updated version later this year great job AMD for building a great GPU for the price! And thanks for showing support for AMD a great company!

Superb showing although it does not seem that smooth if i put on frame gen but overall runs really well superb game so far 👌
